Two origins. One standard.
Sri Lanka has been our source since the 1950s. Africa followed in the second generation, through our own agents on the ground, years before East African supply became fashionable. Both streams of rough arrive at the same workshop, pass through the same hands, and leave under the same grading standard. Precious or semi-precious, from one important stone to repeat production runs.
Sri Lanka
Sapphire, spinel, hessonite. Bought as rough, at the source, by people who have done it for three generations.
East Africa
Our own agents in Tanzania and other source countries. Deep supply in sapphire, tourmaline, and garnet, bought where it leaves the ground.
